2018 CARRS – At the Show!

Car enthusiasts from all over came out for the Classics and Rods Review Show held at Paramount Fine Foods Centre (Hershey) on July 8. It was presented by the Mississauga Classic Car Club in partnership with Councillor Ron Starr, who had a few of his own cars exhibited. Cars and trucks registered for the different categories for $20, whether it was for People's Choice, Best '80s or even Best Engine. Plaques and trophies were handed out to a parade of the champions. The Port Credit Fire Department brought its 1928 Bickle Pumper Firetruck for show as well.  While people admired all the shiny roadsters, they were entertained by Little Peter and the Elegants, along with visiting superheroes. There were vendors, food trucks, door prizes and a 50/50 draw. Money earned also helped benefit the ErinoakKids Centre for Treatment and Development.

Hi Blaine, Ron and Ron,
Thanks for selecting my band to perform on Sunday, July 8, 2018, at the Classics and Rods Review Show organized so capably by your Mississauga Classic Car Club.  I thought the Paramount Fine Foods Centre was a great outdoor location. I hope Little Peter and the Elegants lived up to your expectations. It seemed the folks attending enjoyed our 50s/60s music. I will rent larger speakers next time!
You gentleman and your committee should be complimented on the number of vehicles that registered and the great variety of machines. I am impressed with the knowledge you have regarding the vehicles. It is certainly a love that you have! An event like this definitely has its costs and I congratulate you on attracting over 20 sponsors to make the day a success. We were fortunate with the warm sunny weather and that certainly helped to draw a huge crowd. Well done!
